Listen2Baby Tooklit - Terms of Use

The Listen2Baby Toolkit (the “Toolkit”) is a web-based resource, designed to support midwives and other health
professionals improve the quality and safety of intermittent auscultation practice. The Toolkit consists of a collection of
Listen2Baby branded printable and downloadable materials and a structured guide to implementing these resources,
accessed through FutureNHS (https://future.nhs.uk/Listen2BabyToolkit/groupHome).

The Toolkit is operated by the University of Oxford (whose legal title is the Chancellor, Masters and Scholars of the
University of Oxford), whose administrative offices are at Wellington Square, Oxford OX1 2JD. To contact us please

By accessing or using this Toolkit, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Use. Please read
them carefully. We recommend that you print a copy of these Terms of Use for future reference.

1. Use of Materials

All resources branded with the Listen2Baby logo and available through this Toolkit, including printable guides,
downloadable forms, training videos and other educational materials, are provided free of charge for information,
training, and clinical support purposes only. Access to the Toolkit and all the materials will only occur once the Terms
of Use has been agreed and confirmed with the Listen2Baby team.

You may:

  • View, download, and print materials for personal, professional, or educational use within your NHS
    organisation.

You may not:

  • Share or distribute the resources to another NHS organisation which has not agreed to these Terms of Use.
  • Sell, license, or redistribute the resources for commercial purposes.
  • Modify or republish materials without prior written permission, unless otherwise indicated (e.g., fillable forms
    intended for adaptation).
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Toolkit or its underlying systems.

2. Intellectual Property

All content in the Toolkit, including text, graphics, logos, and downloadable files, is owned by the University of Oxford,
or where content has been provided by third parties, by those third parties. The content in the Toolkit is protected by
applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. Where third-party materials are used, appropriate acknowledgment
is provided, and permissions or licenses have been obtained.

3. User Responsibilities

By using the Toolkit, you agree to:

  • Familiarise yourself with the relevant explanatory information provided on the FutureNHS site about how the
    Toolkit should be used in practice.
  • Use resources responsibly and ethically in line with clinical or educational standards.

  • Direct any other organisation, who wishes to access the Toolkit, to the Listen2Baby team at the University of
    Oxford.
  • Participate in feedback and be approached for any research/evaluation/audit undertaken by the Listen2Baby
    team, and/or the University of Oxford, or other organisations on their behalf, to examine the Toolkit’s use and
    effectiveness.

4. Disclaimer

The Toolkit is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. While we strive to keep
content accurate and up-to-date, we do not guarantee that the materials are free from errors or omissions.
The Toolkit is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment. Users are responsible for ensuring that the use of
these resources complies with their local guidelines and regulatory requirements.

5. Privacy and Data

This Toolkit does not collect personal health information.
The University of Oxford collects IP addresses and information about what pages are visited and content downloaded.
This information is used to improve the content and functionality of the Toolkit. Any data shared via contact forms
or feedback mechanisms will be used only for the purposes for which it was submitted and in line with applicable
privacy policies.

6. Suspension or withdrawal

The Toolkit is made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that it, or any content in it, will always be available
or be uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of the Toolkit for operational
reasons. We will try and give reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.

7. Changes to Terms

We may terminate the rights granted under this Terms of Use, with no less than three months written notice. The
parties shall work together in good faith to ensure that any such termination does not negatively affect the quality of
care offered to patients.
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page,
with the effective date noted above.
